Great bit-tech article on RAID arrays. Easy to understand if you're new, good review if you're not.
I wish I could make Conan laugh like that... (sorry for the lame sync)

I was just reading bit-tech's article on Ubidays, and I noticed a continuation of a current surge. Everybody's making RTS games. And they're all getting hyped. How many do we really need to come out in a year? Granted, I do prefer shooters over strategy, but I'll play an RTS for hours every once in a while. But with even two big ones coming out every year (which i think is going to be the trend), how could anyone keep up? This year we had Supreme Commander and Command and Conquer 3. Coming up: Halo Wars, Starcraft 2, and Tom Clancy's Endwar. I'm sure there are others that aren't as hyped, as well. Gamers don't need a boatload of RTS games. The guys and girls who are really into them generally stick to one for a long time (Starcraft, anyone?). Developers shouldn't bother starting a big competition in this field. Instead, a certain company could put they're latest announced project aside and create, I don't know, some type of action RPG. I know everyone's excited about Starcraft 2, and I'll check it out, but there's no way demand for these games is high enough to warrant three big ones to come out in a year.
Blizzard announced that they're announcing a new game on May 19th. Starcraft 2 is mentioned, which makes me think that this is not the game that's being announced. It could be a new game, but I don't think so, they'll continue a franchise. There was a WoW expansion released not too long ago, and with starcraft in the works, i'm doubting a new classic warcraft game. That leaves one likely suspect, the game i've been waiting for for years: Diablo 3. Diablo 2 is probably my favorite RPG, fun to play with friends, good gameplay. A brand new adventure with new classes, quests, items, weapons, and features would be amazing. Give it up for the horadrim.
Keeping with today's theme, i found a video of cubs pitcher Ryan Dempster doing an impression of the late great Harry Caray. I miss Brenden. He can do this like none other.
(vox isn't letting me embed it) Dempster as Caray
